In Uganda, many single or pregnant teenage mothers face overwhelming challenges cycles of poverty, abandonment, and isolation. Over 70% of them lack access to formal education, vocational training, or a support system. Left to care for themselves and their children, they often struggle to survive, feeling forgotten by society and sometimes even by God.

At Kairos Kainos Christian Mission Uganda, we believe in stepping into that brokenness with compassion, vision, and the redemptive power of the Gospel. We are committed to equipping these young mothers with skills for their hands and hope for their hearts.

What the Program Offers

The Skills Development Program exists to equip single and pregnant teenage mothers with practical skills that are both marketable and sustainable, giving them a real opportunity to rebuild their lives with dignity and confidence.

While we shall initially focus on sewing, our long-term goal is to expand the program to include a variety of vocational trainings such as:

✅ Hairdressing & Braiding

✅ Craft Making (e.g. beadwork, weaving)

✅ Tailoring & Fashion Design

✅ Baking & Simple Catering

✅ Soap & Candle Making

✅ Entrepreneurship and Business Skills

Our Current Reality

We are actively also seeking partners, trainers, and volunteers who can help us build and expand our programs to better serve the teenage mothers
