In March, we celebrated one year in Mission, restoring hope to single mothers and vulnerable children, and creating opportunities for a better future. The first year has reminded us that impact doesn’t start with size, rather with obedience, consistency, and compassion and we are deeply grateful to everyone who has stood with us this far, through prayer, giving, encouragement, and believing in this mission.
Exciting updates looking ahead
FIRST INTAKE COMPLETION
The first intake of our sewing program was completed last week
Throughout the first year, these young women have shown so much interest in learning and indeed it paid off greatly as they have been able to acquire numerous skills in this program, including (but not limited to):
Sewing dresses, shirts, school uniforms, and African attire
Working with confidence and creativity
Some have already attracted interest from local schools for uniform production.
This is the transformation we've been seeking, and we're pleased to already see some results by the end of the first year of operation.
With this level of achievement, we believe our single mothers have acquired a strong foundational skill to start pursuing their own endeavors. We also hope in the near future to be able to capture their stories to gain insight into their journeys, how this mission has influenced their lives, and where they aspire to be in the future
REGISTRATION OF THE ORGANIZATION & ANBI STATUS REQUEST
We are almost done with the registration of the Organization in Uganda. Just afew more steps and it will be good to go. Updates will come as soon as the we are done.
In the meantime, we have not yet initiated the registration process for ANBI status in the Netherlands because we are still looking for a third board member. We remain confident that the right person will be found soon so we can begin the process. Thank you all for helping to raise the necessary funds for this.
SEEKING A PERMANENT HOME FOR THE MISSION
As we continue to expand and witness the impact of this mission, one thing has become very evident in this period: "Space matters. Stability matters. Sustainability matters."

Until now, most of our activities have taken place in rented or temporary spaces. These have restricted how many girls we can assist, how frequently we can run programs, and how much we can grow.
Through prayer and reflection, we firmly believe God is guiding us into the next phase, which is to Establish a permanent home for the Mission.
The vision is to acquire our own piece of land, where we can create a better, safer space to support these young mothers and their children.
Of course, this will not occur overnight, but we believe this is the next step we are planning in Faith.
What the land shall be used for
This will typically be a place for renewal, development, and change, and our vision includes the establishment of:
Safe Transitional Homes
Small, simple housing units for single mothers who have no stable place to stay or need a place where they can base from to find stability and support to rebuild their lives together with Jesus.
Vocational Training Classrooms
These classrooms will be specifically designed for our programs, and any other skills development initiatives we identify based on the area's needs where the Mission will be based. This will enable us to reach more girls more effectively.
Children’s Center
This will be a Christ-centered space specifically for the kids of the single mothers where they sing, play, and learn about Jesus, as we prepare them for a future with Christ at the Center of it all.
Mission House
A house in which we could host visiting missionaries, international volunteers and partners who come to visit the Mission. The aim is to facilitate their participation in the mission on-site, without worrying about their accommodation needs.
WHAT HAPPENS NEXT
We are in the process of launching a dedicated campaign centered on "BUYING LAND" for Mission Operations. Campaign details will be shared soon.
We will also be sending out a special campaign letter to everyone. Please watch your mailbox in the coming weeks.
Volunteer Build Mission: Once we have secured the land, we will offer a hands-on mission opportunity, where we shall be inviting those interested to come to Uganda and participate in building on the land. This will include, but is not limited to,
Assisting with construction
Helping with Mission setup
Supporting on-ground ministry activities
A possible Fun activity for the visiting team: a Safari tour to QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL GAME PARK (one of Africa's greatest wildlife havens). We will provide full Travel itinerary and timelines in advance. However, if you're already interested, you can lclick HERE to register for early planning.
If you feel inspired to join our mission, you can participate as follows;
PRAYER REQUESTS:
Finding the right piece of Land
Completing the Registration and getting ANBI Status
Getting more commited donors for stability
